4 TOOLS TO CREATE HAPPINESS & END DEPRESSION

Author Dr. Dain Heer

Sixteen years ago, I wanted to kill myself. I had even set the day. I wasn’t going to tell anyone. I was just going to do it. I had tried every self-help and personal development modality out there and nothing worked to change the intense sadness I experienced every, single, day. I just wanted the sadness to stop.
Shortly before I planned to end it all, I came across the tools of Access Consciousness® and literally everything in my life has changed – and it changed very quickly. I went from desperation and despair to living with a sense of joy and gratitude, and possibility every single day. And you want to know the best part? Every day keeps getting better.
If you have tried everything you can to lift the heaviness and depression and nothing is changing, it may be time to try something totally different?
The tools of Access Consciousness® ARE different… and simple. But just because they’re simple doesn’t mean they won’t work for you.
Here are 4 tools that I started using that helped me to overcome the depression and create more happiness:
1. Start Every Day by Asking Questions

You know that feeling you sometimes have when you’re first waking up in the morning? When you realize that you are going from sleep to awake and all of the heaviness that you felt yesterday is still there? It can feel like the south end of a northbound elephant is sitting on your head and you just want to go back to sleep – hoping it will go away.
The next time you notice this, rather than spiraling down into those all-too-familiar feelings, ask a question. Asking questions can empower you to change anything.
Here are some questions you can ask:
• What can I be or do different today to move beyond this depression?
• Universe, will you please show me something beautiful today?
• What else is possible here that I’ve never considered?
One of the problems with depression and sadness is that we don’t see any other options. When you ask a question, even a simple one such as, “What else is possible here that I’ve never considered?” you open the door to new possibilities opening up that you couldn’t see before.
2. Stop Taking on the Energy of Others

What if the heaviness and depression that you feel every day isn’t yours? I know that sounds kind of weird. But, here’s the thing, about 98% of the thoughts, feelings and emotions that you experience aren’t even yours. You are like a big radio receiver. You pick up on everything that’s going on around you and you believe that all of the sadness, frustration, depression and heaviness are yours when they’re not. No wonder you can’t fix or change it! You’ve been trying to fix what doesn’t even belong to you.
Here’s what you can do. For 3 days, for every thought, feeling, emotion, depression, sadness, despair you have, ask, “Who does this belong to?” If you notice that things feel lighter for you when you ask the question, none of it is yours. You are simply picking it up from others.
Use this question to stop taking on the energy of others and notice how quickly you have more lightness and more space in your world.

3. Move your body.
Simple and ridiculously effective, scientists don’t talk about endorphins for no reason. Getting out and getting active, even if it’s the last thing you want to do, will definitely make you feel better. Getting into nature as well as an incredible healing capacity.
4. Change your Point of View
Your point of view creates your reality. Your reality does not create your point of view. How many points of view do you have about you? What have you concluded about depression? About life? About why life’s hard?
If you desire to change your life, if you desire to have the joy and possibility of living, change your point of view. Every time you notice a point of view that you have, say, “Interesting point of view. I have that point of view.” What happens is that everything you’ve decided and concluded as real and true becomes simply interesting and when it’s nothing more than interesting you can change it and choose something different.
Please know that it always seems darkest before the dawn. The number of times you have thought of giving up and then take one more step and things change for the greater. Never give up, never give in and never quit!
You are far too valuable to the world. Sixteen years ago, I made a choice to stay and it was the greatest choice I could have ever made. The tools and the help are available to change everything. You are not alone!
What if you could wake up in the morning and feel happy? What if you could open your eyes and have total gratitude for the gift of being alive? If that sounds too good to be true, I am living proof that it’s possible!

It can get worse. It can get better.

A good friend of mine reached out to me with the following: "My favorite massage teacher in the whole world used to say, "If it can get worse, it can get better." and I want to hear your story about that." This is where my understanding is at the moment: How we see a situation is based on our judgment of it. And, whether we know it or not, we’re always judging. Consequently, we give a situation a path to a certain outcome based on the energy we give it with our judgment. So, if we see a situation as bad, then we give it permission and momentum to develop in that direction. And if we see a situation as a doorway to better possibilities, then our thoughts direct creative energy to the situation; guiding it to evolve in the direction of our beliefs. Over the last few years a creed developed for me that still stands unchallenged by my experiences. A set of three “rules”. The first two don’t pertain to the topic at hand, but the third is: ...

12 Strands Of DNA - Our Spiritual Heritage

For years science has recognized that we have two active physical strands of DNA. We also have a further ten energetic DNA strands which have been dormant within the Human Being for many centuries. These dormant strands of DNA have been discovered by scientists, who not knowing the function of these strands, have identified them as ‘junk’ DNA. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains all the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living things. The main role of DNA is the long-term storage of information. DNA is often compared to a set of blueprints since it contains the instructions needed to construct other components of cells. The DNA segments that carry genetic information are called genes, but other DNA sequences have structural purposes or are involved in regulating the use of genetic information. Our DNA is therefore our personal blueprint and as such holds all our mental, physical, emotional and Spiritual information. The or...
